About the Newsroom

LounjApp Hospitality Newsroom is a curated daily news digest for the UK and global hospitality industry, published by LounjApp Ltd. Editions are filed daily at 6:00 UK time. The Newsroom is free to read with no login required.

What we publish

Each Newsroom story is an original short-form summary — typically 200 to 300 words — of hospitality news drawn from publicly reported sources. Every story includes at least one link to the underlying source. The Newsroom does not republish articles in full or in substantial part from other publications; we summarise and link.

Editorial voice

The Newsroom is written in an operator-to-operator tone for the UK hospitality trade. Editorial commentary — such as "The Newsroom's read" lines — represents the Newsroom's interpretation of public news at the time of writing. It is trade journalism, not professional advice.

Not advice. Nothing published in the Newsroom is legal, financial, tax, employment, regulatory or operational advice. Always verify with the original sources we link to, and seek qualified professional advice before acting on anything you read here.

Sources and attribution

We rely on publicly available reporting from UK and international hospitality trade publications, mainstream news outlets, and industry bodies. We attribute sources by name and link directly to original articles. We do not claim ownership of underlying facts, quotes, or reporting by other publications; those remain the work of their respective authors and publishers.

Where a story synthesises reporting from multiple sources, we link to each. Where a quote is reused, it is attributed to the person who said it and to the publication that originally reported it.

Images

Story images are sourced from royalty-free libraries (primarily Unsplash) or are category illustrations created for LounjApp. We do not use copyrighted photography without licence. If you are a photographer or rights holder who believes an image has been used without authorisation, please contact us at the address below.

Corrections and takedowns

If you spot an inaccuracy, or if you are a rights holder who believes a story or image has been used incorrectly, email info@lounjapp.com. We aim to review and respond within two business days. Genuine errors will be corrected or, where appropriate, the story will be amended or withdrawn.

No warranty

The Newsroom is published in good faith. LounjApp Ltd makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any story. External links are provided for reference; we are not responsible for the content of external sites.
